About

Hi! I’m Mackenzie! I’m a speech and language pathologist with nearly 10 years of experience specializing in pediatric speech and language, voice, and feeding. I’ve had the privilege of working with children from birth through young adulthood across public schools and early intervention private practice settings, and I’ve treated a wide range of childhood speech and language disorders.

My Approach

After years of hands-on clinical experience, advanced training, and close collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams, I’m excited to be launching a boutique private practice in Los Feliz/Silverlake and surrounding neighborhoods, as well as offering telehealth services. This next step reflects my clinical expertise and my belief in the value of individualized, high-quality care that private practice allows. Why Private Practice? Private practice provides the flexibility to truly tailor therapy to each child—offering longer-term continuity, family-centered collaboration, and thoughtful treatment planning that can be difficult to access in more restrictive settings. Families who choose private services are investing in expert clinical care, personalized attention, and a therapist who has the time and capacity to deeply understand their child’s unique strengths and needs. Types of Services: I offer in-home, in-school, and telehealth sessions, allowing families flexible options that fit their routines while maintaining a pragmatic, child focused, and family-centered approach to therapy. I treat every type of childhood communication and feeding disorder. More About Mackenzie: When I’m not working with kids, I’m a professional singer and comedy writer, and I love spending time with my family and friends! I hold a Bachelor of Music from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University, and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from California State University, Northridge.
