About
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to empowering individuals across the entire lifespan. While my primary clinical focus is in pediatric care, I find deep professional fulfillment in working with adults, ensuring that every client—regardless of age—receives care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences to stay at the forefront of clinical research, ensuring my practice is grounded in the latest advancements. My approach is intentionally holistic; I collaborate directly with my clients and their families to focus on the goals that matter most in their daily lives. To further enhance engagement, I hold a specialized certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy, allowing me to incorporate the unique, motivating influence of animals into our sessions to help clients reach their full potential. My Approach
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, my clinical philosophy is rooted in a person-centered approach that views every client through a holistic lens. Rather than focusing solely on a specific communication or swallowing impairment, I prioritize the individual’s unique life experiences, cultural background, and personal goals. By integrating the World Health Organization's ICF framework, I ensure that therapy extends beyond the clinical setting to address how communication impacts daily participation and quality of life. This includes: - Collaborative goal setting - Advocacy - Using real-life scenarios - and more.
